After a painful episode of a shattered marriage, a hapless protagonist named Guy Crouchback (Daniel Craig) decides to join the military to fight against the Nazi as World War II soldier. When he finally manages to find a place in a Royal Corps of Halberdiers, surprisingly, he encounters that life in the military is full of liars, cheats as well as traitors. All the while he has to grapple with his undying love for his beautiful blonde ex-wife named Virginia Troy (Megan Dodds) and at the same time his destiny to fulfill his duty is tested with his renewed relationship with Virginia.
